Transparency.

I initially mistyped "word" instead of "world" in the topic header.  Miss P caught it and I edited it.

Off topic:  This is like the TMZ/Elliot Yamin post.  They reported on Yamin's mother passing away with the last sentence of the report being insensitive and mean.  So, TMZ had everyone vote on whether they should keep the last sentence in, almost immediately removed the last sentence but kept the poll up.

I actually think that's a pretty good tracklisting.  They've covered all albums, even the live one, and a couple of soundtrack/singles type stuff.  It would be a fantastic collection to use to introduce people to Radiohead.

Disappointed that there's no "Optimistic" or "In Limbo", my 2 favorite songs from Kid A. Other than that, it's pretty good. I'm also a big fan of "Bulletproof" and "Climbing Up the Walls". But chances are everyone is going to feel something got left off. Best Of compilations are never complete IMO.

On 19th October 2007 the BBC broadcast a radio play based on the Radiohead album O.K. Computer. The play, given the same name as the classic Radiohead album, features 12 parts, each inspired by a song on the album.

It is written by Joel Horwood, Chris Perkins, Al Smith and Chris Thorpe.

The play focuses on the story of a man who wakes up in a Berlin hospital suffering from amnesia, then embarks on a journey to regain his memory.

I don't think they got the memo that the "story" starts with Fitter Happier, not Airbag.

Victory!  "Pop is Dead" makes it to a tracklisting for the Best Of!

Only for the accompanying DVD, though, not the album.

I'm not being ironic in saying I love "Pop is Dead."  I think it's a great, clever little pop song and am amused to no end how the band is humiliated by it.

P.S.   Come on!  Thom Yorke with that hair and that complexion shamelessly mugging for the camera!  In about two minutes!

I wonder if this album will be the third time since  1996 that Radiohead has hit the charts with "High & Dry"....

The second time just happened recently thanks to the band selling the individual tracks stems via iTMS for the "Nude" remix contest.  Billboard rolled up the sales of the all "Nude" tracks sold on iTMS and it helped the band landed 37 on the Billboard Hot 100.
