it's funny maroon five is having the thrills open for them at the merriweather gig. and at wvu, they are having the donnas open for them. i find that so weird. i've been listening to the donnas for such a long time now too.

as for maroon five tickets being 40 bucks, i find that to be such crap. they are good live, but not 40 dollars worth. more like 25 bucks at the most. they came to my college last year and did a good show. it sold out. to book them, it was like 27,000 bucks. but now, it's like 150,000 bucks. (wtf!!!)

You have to understand, they are Grammy award winners. That jumps the price of the band. You won't believe what they'll ask for when they get into the Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame!

well, the $40 pavilion tickets are all gone, but there are still some of the less upsetting $25 lawn tickets left

No denying the demand... Heck if people pay for it, and you're a band like Maroon 5 or U2.... run it up until they can't afford it... Honestly though, my first impression was that the thrills should be headlining at the club with maroon supporting for maybe 15 bucks... I still wouldn't go, but just goes to show how out of touch I guess I am.... believe it or not... hush, don't tell anyone, but I Didn't, nor did I ever watch the grammy's.
