The Panic Channel

A lot of the songs had a real slick "radio-now" sound-- obv. Dave's ROCKSTAR influence.  I hope the LP rocks the right way.

Great to see Chris, Stephen, and Dave playing together.

Dave did not have one drop of sweat the entire night.  (just an observation, not important)

Starting out shirtless probably helped with that. Plus he wasn't really running around and rocking out hardcore. He did wail though! Such awesome guitar tone.

Dave Navarro drives me nuts.  Such a processed looking pretty boy.  Fashion victim.  He's a male bimbo.  A mimbo.  I'm sure he's got a team of stylists along for the tour.

I wouldn't doubt that. I had the pleasure of attending the meet & greet at his solo show about 5 years ago. As I walked into the dressing room, he was sitting atop a ledge up toward the ceiling checking out the lighting of the room from certain angles. Very diva-esque.

He was also a very slight little guy.....

I found the material was "servicable" (but forgettable) to give Navarro and Perkins an opportunity to do what they do.  Loved seeing them in the Club.  That said, the music is forgettable.  Ironically, Steve Isaacs seems like the exact kind of clown that America would have voted to lead this group if there had been a Rock Star Jane's Addiction.  Decent voice.  Total f*cking poseur.  Nothing worthwhile to say.

I liked their two songs you can download online. Then when I saw them play them live and rest of their songs, I liked them even more. It was a nice treat to see them in a club. I like that they closed with Dazed and Confused and rocked it out.

I usually go for the power poppy Tommy Keene type, but Navarro is somehow....incredibly compelling.   ;)
