....Has got to the be the greatest place on earth to see a concert.
Imagine the stage of Wolftrap/Merriweather smack dab in the middle of Bethesda's restaurant area. You park your car (free parking) then have a little pub crawl or go for dinner then take the 2 minute walk to the venue, hand in your ticket and watch the outdoor concert. If you don't have a ticket you can sit outside at one of the bars and listen to the concert.
Morrissey was probably in the best form I've seen him ever - and I've seen him a bunch of times. He opened with The Queen is Dead and I didn't come back down to earth until after I woke up this morning and realized I had to go to work. His sense of humor was spot on and he chatted with the crowd between just about every song - the man must be in love or something.
His band is really tight....Johnny Who?
A good selection of Smiths songs as well as his own stuff. I'm just wondering if he didn't perform Smiths stuff while that legal issue was going on between he and Marr, and the two parasites Rourke and Joyce.
He also sang some new songs which were impressive so I'm looking forward to his new album.
