Darn, I thought this was going to be about the band, Dear Leader, which is fronted by Aaron Perrino, formerly of The Sheila Divine.

They split a couple years ago. Aaron wanted to do his own thing, and that's when Dear Leader began.
 
 The guys in TSD were all super-nice. But they thought I was crazy because I always traveled to Boston and Cambridge to see them play. They only played in DC/Baltimore a couple of times.

I swear I did a show with them at Fletchers last year (or 2 years ago?).  Really liked their sound, found a CD EP of them and like that too.  Bummer they broke up.

Yeah, that was in 2002. They played Fletcher's and then the Black Cat with Evan Dando the following night.
 
 The EP was probably Secret Society. It was released on Arena Rock.
