Wow! The Stooges doing Fun House in it's entirety. That should be intense. With that lineup they have, even I'd put up with the festival atmosphere. Shame it's about 3000 miles away.

Pretty nice, hopefully there will be the typical cross pollination with Voodoo so both parts of the country get as eclectic and exciting a bill as the other.

any idea how much tickets and 2-day passes will be?  Anyone been before?  If so, how was it?  Not really a festival type person, but I keep missing RATM everywhere they play...

$178 for GA, $477.50 for VIP.

Save yourself some cake, unless you're hard pressed to go to Vegas.  They just released tickets for Rage both nights in NY this weekend.  Plus Wu-Tang & The Roots are gonna be there.  If that ain't a good time, I don't know what is . . . .

If you've ever been to Vegas, it's like that plus they set up a stage in the desert at Sam Boyd Stadium where UNLV play football.  It's not much different in set up than any of the radio festivals that take place in this area or V fest for that matter.

The main difference and this is also a little like Lollapalooza is that they have a ton of evening shows during Vegoose, the headliners rarely play these smaller shows/venues but the midsize/smaller acts almost always do.

If you've never been to vegas, you're probably not a gambler, so for non gramblers it's a place to visit for specific event/show things can get expensive fast to party there.  Also if you haven't already booked a hotel good luck, it's already a difficult place during the weekend, but add on Vegoose plus Halloween weekend you're either going to spend an arm and a leg or you're going to be in BFE, either way you'll still need transpo to the festival site it's a few miles away from the strip where you'll otherwise spend the most of your time.

This is a festival, but this one like few others is about the smaller shows, and activities in the evenings more than the festival itself.

It's a quality line-up, but less than ideal location, but if you've never been give it shot Vegas rarely has so much going on at one time for the non-gambler so you might want to take advantage of that.

If you goal is to see RAGE along with helping of same bands, Voodoo is more than suitable alternative and the option I'm taking.

Anyone know what VIP includes?  I've been to Vegas, but am not really a gambler.  I tried to get tix for Rock the Bells for Saturday (can't go Sunday), but (1) couldn't get any and (2) don't have a place to crash in NYC on such short notice.

 still thinking...
