Space was the place...
« on: July 24, 2007, 07:16:00 am »
So who is going to the DC Space reunion sunday?  I got into Space late (1990), but saw some awesome shows there from Fugazi to NOU to Velocity Girl to Beat Happening.  Should be interesting.

I plan to go...

I do think it's funny that its starting at 4pm, whereas most Space denizens would usually start showing up no earlier than 11...  times change!

So I missed 9353, seems they were using Mark as a guitarist.  Anyone see them play?

Yeah - They were great.  I think they played "10 Witches", "Egnopsponge" and something else.  Worth the wait, but it made for a very late night.

Maybe their myspace page has the songlist.  I can't get to myspace from work.

Wow.  Would have loved to see that.  I caught them once their original existance, then I saw them at Taste of DC when they reformed.  I have a boot of them that is beyond horrid sounding but great for all the "PG COUNTY COME ON!!!!"

And the line of the day, the kid on cello right before starting the first time says "I am SO scared."  He did pretty well though.
