Oh, I know....Velvet Lounge is a shit house, but it's our shit house! And they have to get cred for being a venue that brings in smaller, regional acts. It will be interesting to see if DC9 and the Lounge act together to forge even more of a 'live music corridor" over there, or if they end up headbutting over bands, etc. I, of course, hope they both are very successful...
