Tim has a solo album, they gave it one star out of five in the Guardian.co.uk for being schultzy Americanised crap.
 
 Tim is supporting Starsailor in the UK too, I saw the advert in NME last night. I think the show is just Tim with a guitar. It could be cool if he plays a charlatans hit or two that way.

has anyone listened to the new Starsailor? - it got horrible reviews but I liked the first one in a guilty pleasure kind of way..."don't you know you've got your daddys eyes, your daddy was an alcoholic"....jesus

the new labum is just out here I believe. I have a copy of Jadetrees which he got from CDwow.net
 
 the new album has a couple of good tracks, but nothing as good as your daddies eyes. Really, only the Spector, silence is easy track is anything that approaches great. Still there are a lot worse bands out there and they were good live.

i enjoyed the tim burgess tracks from his website... maybe this will one of those 2 for 1 shows... is there anything wrong with being influenced by the byrds?

I've had the Tim Burgess advance for months and months and don't like it at all. In fact, only listened to it once.
 
 Same with the new Starsailor advance that I've had for months.
 
 Not sure which one I like the least. Probably the new Starsailor. Of course, I've never liked Starsailor.
