Roger Daltrey Says He's Deaf

The Who's Roger Daltrey's ears have become another casualty of rock'n'roll.

The singer told Billboard that his years at the helm of legendary rockers The Who have left him nearly stone deaf. His hearing loss is so significant now that he's taken to listening only to quiet music while at home in order to preserve what little hearing he has left.

Daltrey isn't the first Who member to have problems hearing. Pete Townshend's made no secret about his hearing loss through the years, most recently warning people of the long-term dangers of listening to music too loudly on headphones.

Despite the hearing troubles, Daltrey and Townshend will reconvene this summer for a Who tour (read full story), which will most likely feature a lot of "What?" and "Huh?" backstage between the two legends.
