 never seen "indie" spelled "indy" before, and i read a fair amount of british music press

I really don't know anymore. I'm as American as I am Brit at this point so I'm totally confused with the spelling. I can't remember which is which these days. Same with the date.. is today 5/1/08 or 1/5/08? Especially in my job because when I'm communicating with Maserati I have to write the date the european way and it always gets me confused as to which is the US and which is the euro way!!!
