yeah it's a lot worse this year. and it figures that most of the bands i wanted to see are scheduled against each other, especially on friday.

i dont know. i just dont see how it sucks.

looking at the schedule, these are the bands i plan to see.

 friday:

 deadboy and the elephantmen,
 cursive,
 eels,
 jeremy enigk,
 ryan adams,
 lady sovereign,
 secret machines,
 raconteurs,
 violent femmes,
 death cab for cutie

 saturday:
 wolfmother,
 feist,
 built to spill,
 nada surf,
 sonic youth,
 smoking popes,
 flaming lips,
 new pornographers.

 sunday:
 boy kill boy,
 redwalls,
 burden brothers,
 hot chip,
 ben kweller,
 hard-fi,
 the shins,
 QOTSA,
 Broken social scene

sure there are TONS of bands here i dont care to see, but i have found the schedule to not leave too much time when there isnt a band playing i want to see!

yeah, i agree, i think this year's lineup is much stronger than last year. but i'm finding a lot of scheduling conflicts so it'll be tough to see everyone i was looking forward to seeing.

I think the lineup is great, but the scheduling SUCKS.

 Conflicts on Day One:

 Stars/Editors/Jeremy Enigk
 Umphreys McGee/Ryan Adams
 Iron & Wine/Secret Machines
 The Raconteurs/Unannounced Special Guest
 Ween/Death Cab

 Conflicts on Day Two:

 Feist/The Go Team
 Calexico/Nada Surf
 Gnarls Barkley/Sonic Youth
 Common/The Flaming Lips
 Thievery Corporation/The New Pornographers

 Conflicts on Day Three:

 Queens of the Stone Age/Wilco

Seriously, do all of these bands have to play simultaneously?  They couldn't have staggered start times?

Yes, life would really suck if one had to miss Umphrey's McGee!

It's rare that I laugh out loud from this board, but this one did it:
