Alejandro Escovedo "Secret" Show
« on: November 11, 2008, 10:09:00 am »
I think there are a few Alejandro fans on the board. He's playing a small show at the O St Mansion in Dupont Sunday night.....roughly 100 tickets available.

I've never heard of this place. What exactly is the O St. Mansion? It looks like I wouldn't need to be a member to go see Alejandro Escovedo which is a good thing. I will admit tickets are a bit steep (I'm a college student) so I might not do this, but it does sound really cool.

$65 isn't bad when you consider the room only holds about 125, and they're recording audio and video.  The $100 package includes a dinner.  I saw him at Birchmere.  Once we tacked on dinner and a drink, it was close to $75 each.  This would be a really cool experience by the sounds of it - but I'm already heading to see Yes at Ram's Head Live.  Otherwise, I'd definitely hit this.
