no guesses what so every?  i'll give a bit of a hint then... i was flipping through a music magazine and saw the picture I wonder who it was.  when i saw who it was it struck me how little rock hairdos have changed over time.

Here's the answer to mine.
 
 Dixie Chick's singer Natalie Maines' dad Lloyd was the pedal steel player on Anodyne. Of course, he's played on and produced albums by numerous other people as well.

 The reason I found the picture interesting is could have easily been someone from say the 80s, or today. But yet it was Stuart from the 60s, and a various obvious trendsetter.  No wonder the "cute" one was so jealous (or was that why Pete Best got the boot)
