I was planning on being in Phuket when I was in Thailand in November, but we went to Ko Samui and Khao Sok instead ... really really freaky though, seeing all those homemade videos on the news ...

 On the subject of terrorists, did you all hear about the massive bank robbery in Belfast? It's now reported that the IRA cowards did it to fund "retirement plans" for them when this so called peace deal goes into effect    ...also, part fo the peace deal is for the IRA to "promise" not to participate in any illegal activity. I thought being a member of a terrorist organization a criminal act in itself?

 The best thing, so far, about this wave has been CNN.  Their anchor just called pedophile-haunt, Phuket, "Fuck It".  Scouts honor.

  I was in Colombo Sri Lanka and Maylasia. It was over 20 years ago, but still gave me the eebie jeebies watching the destruction on telly. Maylasia did nothing for me to be honest, but I loved Colombo...I felt like David Niven sat in a tea-room in the city centre, sipping tea while talking to the waiter about cricket.
