I am an intern with Kingsize USA/Surreal Records and I wanted everyone to know about this really great band!  I live here in Arlington and have been coming to the 9:30 club even when it was at the old location    I am actually promoting both of these events here in the DC area. Listen to the band on their website www.Planeside.com.  I would love some good feedback about what you think of their music.  They actually just opened for Pennywise in CT last month.  I am new to this forum so I look forward to meeting some good music fans!

will have to say that the song samples are better then the usual screamie-samey bands that typically get pushed here.  however, it's a bit to post grunge for me... and dare i say there was actually a hint of hooks and melody buried in the songs.   but probably nothing i would go out of my way to see or buy.

I really appreciate your feedback!  It is very nice to see the site administrator posting his/her comments about this band.  Any one else want to give me some feedback on this band?  Also they are playing at Zig's in alexandria April 1st..anyone been to zig's?  Here is the tour schedule for the band:
 
 The band on tour is PLANESIDE www.planeside.com , an indie rock band with punk attitude and emotional songs, but not exactly punk, not exactly emo, but definitely kick ass. They are often compared to the foo fighters, quicksand/rival schools, and just did northeast tour dates with pennywise and are currently #1 buzzcut on WBCN boston.
 
 I am also going to be working DOWNPORE www.downpore.com through later this year.
