showing up

if i just showed up at a show, say the ben kweller/ death cab show, without a ticket, what are the chances that i could get in? do people ever sell their tickets there? if people don't show, do they sell standing room? is there any way in?

What occasionally happens is people show up whose pals couldn't make it to the show, so they have an extra ticket.  IF you live in town AND have nothing better to do, then it may be worthwhile to come hang out and try your luck.  If you would have to make a special trip to town or would be leaving some cool party, then please go about your business.
