"New" button disappeared?

Just wondering if people are seeing the same thing... Has the once mighty "new" button disappeared on threads for the rest of you?  I noticed only one topic on my list with it in place.   Wonder if it's a cookie probem or something...

Of course as soon as I added this thread the "new" button displayed next to this thread... ugh

sometimes its there when there are no new posts. i read yum's post about seeing the chili peppers entirely too many times

Want to see something really odd?  Go to one of the mobile phone versions of the forum and when displayed all in text mode all the "New" indicators are there. Which makes me wonder if there isn't a problem with the template....
