Sennen - "One And The Same Thing"

The Black Angels - "The First Vietnamese War"

Ian Brown - "Illegal Attacks"

I'm as against the war as the next guy (the Iraq war at least), but that Ian Brown song is not going to be doing the antiwar cause any favors.

With all due respect, and I do fully respect your right to differing opinions, but I fully disagree.

I'm sorry, I usually greatly respect your musical judgement, but that song strikes me as absolutely awful.

That's cool with me. In fact, as a true freedom lover, I will defend your right to have opposing opinions. In fact, I demand that we be allowed not only to have them but to be able to freely speak/write them. Not liking the same music only means we would try to avoid playing certain cuts when in the same vicinity. Not being able to speak of our differences publically is a personal freedom that I value I never want to lose. It's up to us to be mature enough to respect each others rights and opinions and take them for what they are worth. Friendships are valuable things and something I don't want to lose over a little cultural and intellectual spicey variety.
