everyone raves about hulu but I can't get anything more than clips for some of the shows I want to watch. Cable networks have maybe one episode of select shows, if that. Yet, if you stay current in your viewing, it might work for you.
Obviously, I'm weary of spam and viruses but someone told me about
www.fastpasstv.com. Couple of pop ups but otherwise okay. My virus scan alerted me when I tried to download one show - they feed through alternate providers and wisvid appears to be best.
Not sure I understand how logging on to watch TV shows will leave you less controlled than by your TV, but whatever works!
(for ex/ I watched 4 episodes of Entourage this weekend - in a row - so not much different than sitting in front of the the tele or a dvd.)
Netflix doesn't always have current TV (or movies) for instant play but I do find Netflix's full screen to be the best quality - the others (fastpass, TV networks, not so much.)
