A man was beaten to death early Friday morning after an incident at a U Street-area nightclub, according to D.C. Police.The incident occurred along the 2000 block of 9th Street NW. Sources said the victim was denied entry into the DC9 nightclub, so he threw a brick through the club's window and fled.Witnesses and police said the man was then chased down by some people who were inside the club. Police said the victim was tackled and beaten.Police said the victim, whose identity has not been released, died of blunt force trauma.As many as six people could be questioned in connection with the incident.Stay with NBC4 and NBCWashington.com for more information.
