Can someone please explain the band Placebo to me?  Apparently they're really popular, but I've never met anyone who likes them.  Is this what "alternative rock" fans listen to?  Do they get radio play?

I like them, they have a couple of songs that were radio hits.  Reason why I like them who knows  ;D
