OK Go / French Kicks / Quit Your Dayjob DJ Setlist

Gotta say up front that Quit Your Dayjob is one of the most infectious opening acts I've seen in awhile.  Hailing from Sweden, they combine surf guitar, pounding drums and throbbing synth bass lines.  It's been done before  but it's still be fun anyways... On with what I had on offer for the evening.

Quit Your Day Job was pretty funny.  With such classics as "Pissing on Pandas" and "Fire Kills Children (Ouch it Burns!)" they won't soon be forgotten.
 
 Overall, a very fun show, even if OK Go started off kinda shaky.

Kosmo, can you confirm or deny an urban legend for me? Is there any truth to the idea that bands have certain songs the DJ plays before they go on so they know, hey, we're up in four minutes? Thanks.

hmm i can't confirm or deny it... it's possible that this is the case if it's the bands sound person that providing the music between sets and they use the same mix CD or play list each night.   it would be hard to coordinate this with one of the DJs at the club as we bring our own music to spin and might not have that specific song with us, so again at that point it would be the sound crew probably providing the cue
