 February 23, 2004 -- MONTY Python fans, get ready: John Cleese has been telling people there will be a Broadway version of "The Holy Grail." One insider on aintitcool.com noted Cleese said to a San Francisco crowd that Eric Idle came up with the idea and has written some "very nice" songs for it. The working title would be, "Spamelot" and Idle wants Mike Nichols to direct. "[Cleese] did mention that the original Python people would not be acting in it as they're too old and would have heart attacks performing eight nights a week," the insider noted.
