Good record stores in Seattle

Getting on the plane to go to Seattle this afternoon.  Anyone know a good record store I can check out while I'm there (vinyl and/or cd)?

Easy Street Records and Sonic Boom Records are the best. They both have a couple of locations, so use google to find the ones most convenient to you.

Rock on...I'm going to Seattle in July, can't wait to check those out. Do they have good used CD/LP sections?

    Sonic Boom is a bit smaller. Not really a great selection of used stuff at any of the three stores, but excellent indie selection. Their website: http://www.sonicboomrecords.com/

I checked out the Sonic boom site and that looks perfect to me.  Mainly looking for vinyl and stuff that could be tough to find.  Gotta support the little guys out there trying to compete with the Amazons and Best Buys.  Looks like they are doing alright according to the Rolling Stone article they have on their site.

I went to Seattle a couple years ago and it sucked, very badly. whats with everyone up there anyway.

Went to Sonic Boom on Monday an picked up a a bag full of goodies.  They had a pretty nice selction of new releases on vinyl, nothing out of the ordinary but plenty to choose from.  I also raided the 7" section and bought a few including the Elliott Smith 7" that was put out just a few months before he killed himself.  From what my friend told me Easy street is much better for their used section and is a little bit bigger than the downtown Sonic Boom.  All in all I really enjoyed Seattle, although I wish I could have had the chance to check out a show at Showbox or Crocodile Cafe.  Maybe next time.  We also went to Orcas Island in the San Juans.  That place is truely amazing.
