lol - ditto on this one.

That was 25 miles from my home, but I was in kindergarten at the time, so.... Probably a few people in the neighborhood went. Never even heard about it until I was well into my teens and living on the other coast.

i'm really glad i didn't go to the gladiator fights on (what we would today call) august 11, 103 B.C.  hardly any blood per all the reports, and the ladies were wearing those full togas so nothing to look at.  i'm told the 98 B.C. season was waaaaaaaaaay better, but i didn't go to any of those either.

altamont had a great line up. flying burrito bros, jefferson airplane, santana, csny, grateful dead and the rolling stones. it was free. most people saw no trouble. the cia provided free LSD.
