Half the Show

Is there anyway to see an opening act but not the main act?  We really want to see Rooney play but couldn't care less about Travis on 10/23.  Is there anyway to make this happen?  Does 930 does this at all?

 Thanks.

Yup, you buy a ticket for the show, go early and leave right after Rooney.  This is, I believe, why the show posts the times each band is scheduled to start on the day of the show -- so you can be sure to catch the band you're interested in.

If you're asking if you can pay half, no dice.  Then the same would have to be true if I wanted to see *only* the headliner.

If you dont have tickets, its sold out already.....

There is no way they will let you in without a ticket on the promise you will leave after the opener.........

Hey thanks.  You are right the show is sold out.  And, since I'm more interested in Rooney than Travis, I'd be willing to leave after they played.  Cross my heart hope to die promise.  But it doesn't appear that there is a way for that to happen.  Too bad. I'm still hoping that some tix will appear for the whole show, which I don't mind paying for and still leaving.  Rooney has one CD and all the songs are excellent.  That doesn't happen very often in today's music world.
