The Summer album of 04 cost a buck
« on: May 25, 2004, 02:28:00 pm »
While pawing through the bargin bin at Record and Tape Traders this morning what should appear but an advance copy of Burning Brides "Leaving No Ashes" and to quote  Young Agent Jones "OH YEAH"  I even checked the copywrite to make sure it was indeed the new one.

Dirty nasty guitar sounds, Swagger(tm) approved riffs, killer murky basslines, and pounding drums.  The first track "Heart Full of Black" was an instant repeat.  The best news tracks 2-12 aren't carbon copies of the first track and very little guitar wanking is to be had.  The Burning Brides tap into all forms of the heavy, Stooges, Punk, Black Sabbath to name a few.

Of course the Ash could dislodge this one, but for now its a Mini rock beast of a CD.  Hmmm an Burning Brides, Ash co-headling show with Myracle Brah would be a ugly thing to rock out to.

pm me if interested in doing a little waste or rendezvous action

I would prefer the burning brides not play with Ash.  Good to hear the new album might be better than the first, which could not match their live sound.
