You can setup a "group for the open-minded", but the minute 2-3 people breakdown and listen to a Death Cab or Radiohead track, it's over. They're going to bubble right up to the top like they do on every other chart. The more people in the group, the more likely that's going to happen.
The whole point of the charts is to show what artists/songs people have in common - not to show how open-minded each person is. That's what the individual charts are for.
