We're not doomed to hell because we enjoy an amazing performer, and if Madonna is anything, she is that.  It was a great show -- crazy, big, fun.  And hot (not in a sexy way, though).

One of the cool things that some of y'all may already have seen is the latest technology for the big screens -- crystal clear.  Better picture than my television.  A friend had binoculars, but (1) I was close enough to not need them, and (2) the picture on the jumbotrons were so amazing, it was far better than binoculars....

Hmmm - that reminds me of one of my favorite Onion 'news' stories:
Oprah Viewers Patiently Awaiting Instructions - With nearly three weeks having passed since talk-show host Oprah Winfrey last issued an official command, approximately 60 million Oprah Winfrey Show viewers are on standby,...

The big as yet unanswered Madonna question though is - Did she have the pointy boobs & just how big did they look on that exquisite jumbotron?

Do pitchforks talk?  I think you need professional help.   I have no skeltons in my closet.  And I listen to the daily farm report.

Wow, Prince vs. Madonna?  That's a tough call.

I saw both for the first time this year.  I thought both were AMAZING performers.  I saw Prince in PA back in April (and have tix for here in August) and saw Madonna last night.  I thought both shows were awesome -- setlists, sound, very engaging for the crowd, etc.  Both are a re-worked "best of" tours, and were perfect for a first-timer like me.

Interesting comparing the two artists themselves though, since they're both in their 40's and have (successfully) reinvented themselves so many times.  I would have LOVED to have seen them both back in the day, especially Prince.  I think he's a musical genuis.  Although he's just not the same without the dirty words...    ;)

If I had to choose, it'd be Prince no question.  He's a far superior musician.  But since I could go to both, I enjoyed all the glitz of Madonna's touring circus.

In another tasteful move, the artist formerly known as Madonna has officially changed her name to Polly.
