Low is very good at what they do live, but they certainly don't have the diversity in sound that is evidenced on "The Great Destroyer".  The songs all seemed to run in either slow and quiet, or start that way and end up loud with a guitar solo.  Think I'll stick with exploring their recorded works instead.

Loney, Dear were on the other hand a very cool indie pop band from Sweden who just released an album on Sub Pop.  Fans of Prefab Sprout, The Go-Betweens, and Belle & Sebastian will dig the bouncy pop tunes of their..

How were Loney, Dear last night? I saw them in Chicago a few weeks ago, and they were great, and Emil was very nice when I talked to him after the show. I tried to get him to stop by Hej Hej after his set last night, but his schedule was too busy... Would have liked to see them again, but had to be at Saint-Ex during their set.

Thought Loney, Dear were great... didn't get a chance to fully appreciate their set, but bought a couple CD for listening to.

Loney, Dear were great. I went to see them more so than Low. Fabulous pop, even if the constant falsetto singing does get on the nerves slightly. I picked up the new CD (Loney, Noir) a few months ago and have really been digging it.
