I'm with tedajee/retadjee whatever on this one though. I refuse to step foot in the 4P's too. I met markie wk and lulu there a little while ago but we sat outside. Not a regular guiness drinker myself, but my mates who are all seem to prefer the nanny's pint for some reason.

 Anyhow, while the atmosphere is more Irish at Nannie's, as a certified 1759 Society Member, the Pints aren't even close.  The Ps is the far superior pint, but this board has had this argument 100 times over so I'll let it go at that.

 4ps is great outside the guiness is very good and the fish and chips even better. But inside reminds me of a bad airport bar, its just too garish for me. Give me the cheap school dinner hall look of nannies anytime.....
 
 Actually I hate that too. Give me Pharmacy or Toledo or Washington grill or red room, or best of all backbar. In Cleveland Park I preferred atomic billiards.

It was quite a while ago..in fact it was sometime during baseball season last year. Their real motive for meeting me was so I would drive them to Baltimore for the game, but I wasn't having it, so we ended up sitting outside the 4P's and having a couple of bevvies.
 
 You have to watch those two, they pretend they want to meet you but they really only want to meet your car.

I agree with you on Pharmacy and Toledo..don't know the Washington Grill. I like Nanny's because it's my homey's that hang there bro'!
 
 You can shove the back bar up your arse though..that wanker behind the bar ruins it. I prefer having a couple in the Velvet Lounge before a show at 930.
 
 Isn't it a bit weird how Adams Morgan can be chocker with people waiting in line to go in other bars, but the Pharmacy bar NEVER seems to be very busy.

I haven't confirmed this yet, but I was told that Beck's physical on July 1 is going to be on European pay-per-view and the stadium has sold out to see Beck's dribble the ball around for the first time and put on his Real jersey.
