But doesn't Ani publish all her own records on her own record label?  That would be the definition of D.I.Y., wouldn't it?  
 
 I'd never go see her, but that's because I don't like her.  Don't see how ticket prices nullify her process...

yes, it is true she puts everything out herself, and that is a do-it yourself mentality...but more of the expensive prince diy than the cheap black flag/fugazi diy. i mean, even her merch is absurdly priced.
 
 i personally think keeping prices low so people can come see you is pretty important. guess that makes me a populist, not a liberal

Well, the Eletric Maid Community Exchange just re-opened yesterday. They will have bands performing there, including punk bands on Friday and Saturday nights.
