 Can you pleeeeeeeeeeeeze explain to me how the flying fuck they come up with these rankings?
 Argentina and France went out of the world cup at the first hurdle...Holland didn't even qualify. England have beaten Argentina and Turkey...The USA only lost 1-0 to Brazil and Spain were the biggest under-achievers in the world cup. It's like the seedings for the cup. England stuff Germany 5-0 in Germany, but Germany get the higher seeding in the group.

 Brazil
 Germany
 England
 Turkey
 USA
 Czech Replubic
 Spain
 France
 Argentina
 Holland

They put way too much emphasis on Friendlies.  If you're not playing competitive soccer, it should be greatly devalued.  Remember when Sven played half squads for the Aussie friendly and the English tied - the hurt your value.  France has done well to qualify for the Confederations Cup and that's why they are ranked so high.
 
 But yes, the rankings are ridiculous.
