Mammatus are opening; def. don't sleep on them.

I thought about this but am feeling lazy and want to rest up in preparation for the long coachella weekend.

He's right. If you're on the fence, check this:

MAMMATUS - The Coast Explodes (2007)
Their first album was fantastic last year, and
this one picks right back up where they left off. Great stoner
 rock acid psych.

i booked mammatus last june at the warehouse, and everyone slept on that one: we got a total of 11 paid, i recall.

i'll be there tonight. i'm actually opening for acid mothers in nyc at the knitting factory, doing a collab set with some bardo pond members...so far the performing highlight of my life.

Yeah I only recently checked them out when I saw them listed on that bill with AMT.

ha...sparx, in the realm of improv psych, EVERY set is recorded, as is every home jam. you never know what you're gonna come up with...it might just be the best thing yet.

i missed mammatus because of band practice, but saw all of AMT, who killed it. maybe not the best set i've seen them play, but it was up there. the crowd size was about what i expected: maybe 100-120.
