RIP Johnny.
I think I'll rent Rock 'n' Roll High School this weekend.

I remember shedding tears at Joey's passing. I was distraught for a few days. Johnny's death was a shock to me as i read the Express paper on the train this morning. Such a sad way to begin an otherwise enjoyable Friday. R.I.P Johnny.

Yeah...Johnny was relentless in his damned-near hatred of Joey right up to the bitter end.  Seemed to be a fairly joyless guy, except maybe his last few years.

Amazing though, how when asked if they would ever use another singer -- and from what I assume is  without missing a beat -- Johnny answered that no, Joey was their singer.

That's the truth, but you gotta respect this:

The band had been asked if it would perform with another singer taking Joey's place. "I said, 'No way. See us like we were, or don't see us at all. Go buy the DVD,'" says Johnny. "I would never perform without Joey. He was our singer."

I heard this whole death thing is all a hoax to correspond with the release of "End of the Century".

Rumor has it Johnny is on a wild turkey hunt with the Nuge.
