Pretty Girls Make Graves

We are sorry to announce that our upcoming tour in May will be our last. Nick quit the band and the rest of us feel like it wouldnâ??t be right to continue on without him. The 5 of us feel very lucky to have met and worked with some truly amazing people over the years. Thank you all so muchâ?¦.

I am a bit bummed about this. Have done work with them for a bit and they seemed like good people. I really liked their last album more than their second one and they always killed it live. But since the first guitarist left and now someone else, well, may be they did not feel it was the same band.

Then again, they did an interview (in AP) where the current guitarist said he would not listen to their albums if they had not made it which does not sound to promising for a band.

The Beautiful South

The Beautiful South have split up due to musical similarities. The band would like to thank everyone for their 19 wonderful years in music.

The band will be inviting a small group of close friends, music industry allies and supporters to a 'Celebratory Wake' in London at the end of February.
