Stu is a cool guy and I used to be in a band with the drummer, Trish, but logistics (she lives out in Middleburg VA) sunk that band.
If I hadn't just thrown my back out doing emergency house work today, I'd be interested (being an adult is awesome). They're a fun band and Galaxy Hut is like the last interesting venue in that area, I think (saw on FB that the iota folks are selling off everything they can).

Not at all shameless, but my current band is playing with the SDs on the 25th at The Colony Club... Anyone know anything about that place?
WHAT?

cool...another new venue
This chill coffee bar/Ping-Pong club morphs into a bar by night serving drinks & snacks.

Or this could be the description Forced to live underground, survivors of an ice age embark on a mission to reach another outpost.

I had a lot of fun!

The opening act played Rush like music while on a screen behind them they played images or video taken by the Hubble telescope

Galaxy really has a great vibe... surprisingly they had some huge ass pitchers of beer for $13...
