Girl talk

I remember hearing night ripper last summer when he came to DC and the Depot and thought it was pretty good.  I bought his album (on his paypal account) thinking that it would only be a matter of time before he get slammed with lawsuits over the album samples.

Now, a year later, he is "performing" at Coachella, Lolapolooza, and VFest.

 Who would have thunk it.

He disappointed me at coachella. Later that night, I ask my friend who'd been holding the program "hey when's justice playing?" "Oooooooh you wanted to see them? They were on at the same time as girl talk. Sooooooooooorrrrrrrrrrrrry." Needless to say, I was pissed.

When he was at the Depot, his set was only about 20 minutes.

I saw a video of him from Chicago on New Years and it was a lot of him playing a song, waving his hands in the air, and  going into the crowd to dance, and returning to his laptop and repeating.

 People seemed to love it

His show at the Black Cat a while back was one of the most amazing spectacles I've ever seen. He was a bigger rock star that night than Mick Jagger.  He had everyone come up on stage and compltely surroud him as he clicked away on his little laptop for a min, got up and danced, took off his clothes, then clicked some more, etc.  The entire room completely flipped out.  Check out the pics:
