Everyone's taller than someone...there's not much to be done.  I have a friend who's 6' 3", and I really feel for him.  He kind of hunkers down once he gets up a bit in a crowd, but what can you do?  Eventually he dances and stands up straight; and he's never more than halfway up or so.  At 5' 9", I can usually see something, and I'm basically average height.  If you're 5' 1", you'll never be able to see -- go up to the balcony and hang with the clovettes.   ;)

complaining about someone being tall is bullshit.

they are not doing anything maliciously wrong by standing up front.  there are far worse people that are annoying and by fault of their own ruining the experience.

can we add cellphone guy/gal to this list?  this behavior is really getting annoying... at the secret machines there was some guy front and center who had his stinkin' phone in the air for the entire show and there were several at the hives show as well.

maybe they need a special photo area like they do for tapers or only allow pictures to be taken for the first few songs.  or just ban them out right...

it's behavior like this that make annoying people even more annoying and selfish... why people who show up a concerts seem to lose common sense and self respect are beyond me.

apparently they need to teach a class in cell phone etiquette all around.  People seem to totally lose respect for everyone else when that damn phone rings. or maybe they never had it in the first place.

i think that cell phones truly make obnoxious people even more so.  just how many of those calls are that important! when in a public place put the phone on vibrate and excuse yourself to take the call...

i've heard stories where people don't make plans anymore they just keep calling each on cellphones until they meet up the right place.

i blame the me first attitude cultivate in the 80's "best" decade ever

one of my favorites is the "drunk who can't get out of their own way" guy.  these people will spend major american dollars to go to a show and get wasted.  what the hell is the point?  in most cases, they end up acting like an ass, arguing with people over nothing, not recognizing personal space at all, and getting sick.  if you want to get drunk so bad, go to the liquor store, buy a case, then go back home, put in the cd, and drink till you pass out.  at least that way, they're not bothering anyone, and keeping their shallow gene pool to themselves.

Add to the list the "[insert rock star's name] doesn't know me yet, but once he meets me, he will whisk me backstage and make me Queen Groupie" chick...I have had the misfortune of traveling to shows with girls like this.
