I didn't even realize Pitchfork advertised....
Pitchfork Seeks Director of Advertising in Chicago
Underground Forklair a comfortable and rewarding work environment if you don't mind the catbox
Ryan Schreiber reports:
It appears our old pal Eric Carr is bidding us adieu come the end of the month, effectively vacating his position as Pitchfork's lovable long-time Director of Advertising. Now, for a brief window of approximately three days, that position is open to the public! This luxurious full-time gig comes complete with a modest base salary and-- if I do say so myself-- liberal commissions. Interested parties must have a respectable sales background, a fondness for schmoozin', and the motivation to rake in billions of dollars so that our deprived, starving writers can one day jet to Milan to interview Radiohead in their own customized satin Pitchfork jackets. All potential candidates will be located in Chicago or willing to relocate. If you're down, click here to send a resume by 6:00pm CST Wednesday.
