write your local federal rep about this one, unless of course you live in the city and you don't have full federal representation.
anyway, copyright law exists to serve the public good, not disney, sony and/or the riaa. unless you really want to have a DRM-compliant cd-/dvd-player/computer, let your reps know you care about your rights to fair use.
