on the death cab website.. it says they are playing here on the 23rd of october.. and it also said somewhere else, tickets were going to be avaliable starting the 12th of august.. so.. what's the deal? 930.com shows nothing of them even coming..

Don't fret, this is common.  A lot of bands will post that they're playing at the 9:30 w/o the club actually posting it on their site (they only display about the next month and a half's worth of shows, as opposed to, say, the Black Cat, which display just about everything that's official.)

Soooo, the trick is, go with what the band says, cause chances are, they wouldn't be selling tickets unless the 9:30 okayed it.

Also, check out the "Just Announced" posting, which is updated quite often with new DC/Baltimore tourdates for all sorts of bands.

Lastly, welcome to the 9:30 forums.  We hope you enjoy your stay.

There was already a presale via the Death Cab website.  The presale for the 9:30 show is sold out.
