best news ever...and playing with Tweaker to boot.  i got to see them on the last rights tour...can't wait for this!!!!!!!

They've got Justin from Professional Murder Music as the additional drummer and also Statik from Collide doing some synth as well! He co-wrote and did programming on 5 of the new tracks!
 
 New Collide double CD "Vortex" comes out on the 18th!

Other than "not being there" Ogre and gang were nice people.  I might have to go, just so long as there isn't too much fake blood in use.

I had read something about Skinny Puppy wanting Lightning Bolt to open, but apparently not, but that would have been a sight to see.
 
 Would the club let a band play on the floor if that was part of their "deal"?

I saw them "open" for sonic youth in NY last year...the crowd thought they'd cancelled, because SY came on first.  so they play a great set, do an encore, and thurston's saying 'thanks, goodnight' when all of a sudden Lightning Bolt's drummer drops from a pipe in the ceiling onto his stool in the middle of the room and begins playing...
