« on: February 11, 2003, 12:45:00 pm »
anyone heard this yet?
http://www.nme.com/news/104159.htm[/url]
    Â Â Â

The runaway success of Russian lesbian pop stars TATU has had two unlikely beneficiaries â?? MORRISSEY and JOHNNY MARR.
The one-time Smiths singer and guitarist/songwriters have already netted around £200,000 from Tatuâ??s cover of their 1984 classic â??How Soon Is Now?â??. The track appears on the duoâ??s two million-selling album â??200km/H In The Wrong Laneâ??.

You guys are sick. Why would you want to watch women make out with each other? Women were made for men, not for other women.

thought i'd share this with the group. since i know the wallflower likes the whole lesbian thing, i asked him if knew about tatu, here's his response:
I've seen it a few times on the MTV. In both english and russian, mind you. I'm way ahead of the curve on this one. The best part is how they resolutely refuse to say "we are lesbians". They are intentionally playing with the audience. It's such a gratuitous publicity grab. Eat your heart out, Christina.
Okay, I'm getting dizzy. (Calm down, [edit]. Be cool.) I need to shuffle off to the bathroom [edit] and dream of a life that doesn't so closely resemble hell.
the wisdom that comes from the wallflower.
