9/19: Girl Talk / Dan Deacon v. Apples in Stereo

i'm fighting the same fight... currently, i'm leaning toward girl talk/ dan deacon...

apples in stereo aren't very good live but this was years ago with the girl drummer. I think she left the band.

however, aren't girl talk and dan deacon also playing the ottobar the night before? so i mean, if you were really that conflicted... you could do both.

I didn't go last time (ice storm so I doubt many others did either) and the time before that was the night of the Beck show. There couldn't have been more than 100 people in that room.
 
 New Magnetic Wonder helped increase their popularity a bit though.

I saw the Apples in Stereo back in May, having never heard a note of their stuff before. Very enjoyable and upbeat - raucous crowd helped.

Just an update they're playing Baltimore the night before but at 2640 Space on St. Paul not Ottobar.
