Rollcall: Fort Reno Thursday 8/16
« on: August 15, 2007, 04:16:00 pm »
Anyone heading up?  If it doesn't rain/I don't get lazy, I'll be bringing the dog to close out the season.

I'm psyched to see Eyeball Skeleton, since I missed them last year. I hope my kids are that cool one day.

Not sure how long I'm staying tonight, but I'm definitely in tonight.  Hard to believe summers almost over.

I'm curious...how was Reno last night?  Eyeball Skeleton in particular?

Like an old man, I bailed.  We're heading out of town tonight, and I had a ton to do before this morning.  I really only had interest in seeing the first two acts, and by the time I got home from work, I would've missed most of Eyeball Skeleton.

 Anyone actually make it?

yeah, i was there. eyeball skeleton was ok. edie segwick was awesome. i liked their video screen (edie's) and edie segwick was quite the consumate performer. God Damn! it was a nice end to the summer. me and a friend discussed all the shows we had seen there, he was from that neighborhood, so he could remember seeing old hippy shows there in the late 70's-early 80s back when the stage was on the other side of the field. we also discussed the best fugazi shows there including the ice cream eating mother fucker and the rainy lightning interupted show that closed with waiting room. there have been alot of great summers of music there. the few shows i caught this summer were cool, hope next years will be as good.
