I am disappointed too and won't be going to Merriweather. I am thinking of getting tickets in Philly for the Friday before and just doing the drive. It's the size of the venue rather than the driving....(though I don't really want to get caught in parking lot traffic on a week night.....)May have room in the car for ppl interested in philly.....

Too late.  I think that concert's been cancelled and now they are opening for The Hold Steady the next night (the 20th) at the Factory.  However, they will be playing a full set.

Thank you! Yeah- I think I'm leaning that way. I grew up there too.
