no, decided my last GBV shows will be the two in new york in early December, from what I have heard the Chicago tickets sold out fast

Me too - they were SO great when they opened for Radiohead @ Bull Run.

Really...I'm not still bitter about my worst concert experience EVER.

I was at their 9:30 show...two years ago, geez. It was great. It was slow at first, but they picked up the pace and it ended really well.  :)

yeah it was really good, other than their butchering of my favorite song of theirs -- she's the one

the 9:30 show was excellent...i'm feeling that bitterness too, grotty.  i had tix for the sunday bb/radiohead show at bull "let the water" run.  that still ranks as one of the saddest days of my life.

not only did i have tickets to both of those shows, but i also had tickets (and was in canada) for the toronto show last year that got postponed (and i couldn't make the reschedule).  that's 3 cancelled rh shows in 2 tours.  bad luck i guess... though i've still seen them 8 times.

on top of the bull run thing in 01, i also had tickets to both LSP shows, but sold them as i decided i could really only afford to go to 3 shows... it's a good thing i went to atlanta.

despite the cancellation, the scene at bull run was the most fun i've had at a "gig" in YEARS!  come on, nude mud-sliding, how often do you get that???

you've got your sob story about not seeing radiohead/bb at bull run, no doubt, but on top of the gigs getting cancelled, i also had a $650 piece of equipment die after getting waterlogged...

... but who cares; i was able to ogle nude mud-sliders!!!

i didn't make it up in time to get to get in and see that.  what should have taken me <2hrs ended up taking me almost 5.  i was in line waiting to turn in when they announced on whfs that it had been cancelled.
