Thanks for the suggestions but given the popularity of these acts, think I best be sticking with the hits.  Although "Everyday Is Halloween" is on the short list.  Am also considering a couple less obvious songs such as Beautiful South "Women In The Wall" with it's Poe type narrative.  "I Put A Spell" CCR as well...

Just put on some Residents and watch everyone run out screaming.

The Cramps are always good for Halloween fun too.

Young lady, you need to see Sloan.  Next time they're in town I will talk to your parents, you ARE going to see them.    ;)  [/b]
Oh, I ADORE Sloan!  I wanted to see them ridiculously badly when they came in the spring, I flipped out...but it was a school night.  And none of my friends here like them anyway.  A good friend of mine who loves Ok Go is currently obsessed with The Go! Team...so I shall check them out definitement.

Kosmo, what about after the show?  I just realized too we'll be there early to secure front-row spots, which means no balcony going for moi...

hmmm can't make any promises about after the show... the coat check will likely be hopping with activity and djs aren't always used after the band is over.

well then, all i can say is if you see a bunch of girls dressed up like sexy, flamboyant men, and one of them isn't blonde--or short; come say hello.

I think you should play The Rakes' song Terror! at full volume. (For anyone who hasn't heard The Rakes album yet, you should check it out.)

Nooo, have certaintly NOT convinced the parents.  We just bought our tickets to this show before they decided to ban me from the club...meh heh heh.  My straight-A report card is coming soon though, for awesome ammo.  Though my Rooney show just sold out...I'll have to, like, prostitute my way in or something.  That is, after they say yes.  And I mean, to the show; not just the prostituting.
